quark
(or Greek yogurt or ricotta cheese)

grated carrots

flour
(plus a little extra for kneading)

eggs

oil

lemon
(use zest of one lemon)

tbsp
baking powder

pinch
nutmeg
Instructions
Preheat the oven to
180°C (356°F)
.
Place
quark, grated carrots, flour, baking powder, eggs, oil, lemon zest, salt, and nutmeg
in a large bowl.
Mix everything together and
knead until a soft dough forms
. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.
Divide the dough into
16 pieces
and shape them into small rolls.
Place the rolls on a baking tray lined with
baking paper
.
Bake for about
35 minutes at 180°C
until golden.
